The tragic invasion of Ukraine has caused the displacement of millions of people attempting to flee the horrific conditions of the war. MOSFED's strategy to support Ukraine and help refugees leave safely are through our risk and security assessments along the border of Ukraine and through our security and emergency response services. MOSFED is able to take on this kind of support with the help of MOSAIC's security and risk professionals who dedicate their own time and resources to operationally support the initiative.

MOSFED’s global team of experienced risk professionals perform risk assessments to investigate and identify human trafficking operations against vulnerable individuals escaping the devastating conflict in Ukraine. MOSFED understands that human trafficking evolves over the course of a conflict as threat actors find new opportunities to exploit vulnerable and disadvantaged people. MOSFED has relied on the help of MOSAIC's security and risk intelligence analysts and former law enforcement and military professionals. Analysts use the open, deep, and dark web to monitor the conflict. At the same time, highly trained officers deploy at various checkpoints on the ground to carry out risk assessments on potential or vulnerable-to-human-trafficking operations.

MOSFED provides security and emergency response services in partnership with MOSAIC and other carefully, vetted and tested service providers for those affected by conflict in Ukraine. We provide various levels of protection depending on the threat environment that individuals or groups are faced with. We deploy highly trained officers and utilize surveillance services for operational support to ensure individuals are safe at every moment from their departure to their arrival at their destination.

MOSFED is collecting donations to support Ukraine to support our operations. Donations go towards safe evacuation operations and the resettlement of refugees. Donations also go towards medical aid, and supplies such as IFAKs, body armor, and technological equipment to help support our trusted partners already on the ground assisting Ukraine.

MOSFED's security and risk intelligence analysts utilize databases to scan the open, deep, and dark web to monitor the war in Ukraine. Our analysts have been monitoring the invasion since it started. With the use of these databases, we can persistently monitor threats and support our operations when we deploy trained officers on the ground.
RISK & SECURITY ASSESSMENT CASE STUDY
Concerned with the war in Ukraine and the unfortunate situation the fleeing Ukrainians found themselves in, MOSFED decided to deploy its staff to the Polish/Ukrainian border area to obtain a firsthand assessment of the situation.
